We are holding special health care information sessions to help you understand your health benefits options. Union-represented Rutgers employees (with the exception of adjunct faculty, something our unions are determined to change!) are eligible for the State Health Benefits Plan, which has nine different plans to choose from and two separate vendors (Aetna and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield). Navigating the pros and cons, including costs, of each plan or vendor can be a task. That’s where our union has been helpful.
