Dear colleague,
We’re asking every full-time faculty member and grad worker to show your support for our main demands by signing this statement. Please take a minute right now to sign, and then talk to three colleagues about why they should sign, too.
We want to continue and broaden our discussion about the priorities we need for the Rutgers we deserve. We have graphics—in both color online (for including in emails and posting on social media) and black-and-white printable versions (for printing out and posting)—to download from this Google folder so you can spread the word in emails, on social media, and in our buildings and offices:
- “Show Your Support” statement: Color image | B&W pdf
- “What We’re Fighting For” summary (one page): Color image | Color pdf | B&W pdf
- “What We’re Fighting For” extended (two pages): Color image | Color pdf | B&W pdf

Our demands have been developed over months of listening, discussion, and reflection. Almost 2,000 of you responded to our contract campaign survey last fall. Hundreds of you attended chapter meetings and a town hall meeting about them.
After a thorough discussion as a union, we know what we’re fighting for in our next contract to get us closer to the Rutgers that all of us—faculty, grad workers, staff, our students, and our communities—deserve. It’s time to make sure everyone else knows. Please sign our statement of support and download and use our contract campaign graphics.
In solidarity,
Becky and Todd
