Dear colleague,
Half a year ago, we put forward our proposals for a strong contract that will win security and dignity for all of us. Management’s response? No…or nothing at all. Just look at their dismal performance on our “Bargaining Status at a Glance” page.
Enough is enough. All of us have gone without a raise this year at a time of historic inflation. Grad workers and our adjunct colleagues don’t make a livable wage. The administration’s mismanagement is making our teaching and learning conditions worse.
It’s time we start expressing our demands in ways management and the Board of Governors can’t ignore. We’re asking all of you, in Camden, Newark, and New Brunswick, to take action on your campus at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 6, when the Board of Governors meets in New Brunswick. Click here to commit to coming out on December 6 to raise our collective voice.
To discuss why we need to take action and what’s ahead for our union, we’re planning an all-member virtual town hall meeting on Monday, November 21, at 6 p.m. We need to hear from you about your ideas and concerns as we move forward. Click here to RSVP for the Zoom link.
In solidarity,
